The great Rishi Maharshi Parashara is till today the worlds leading authority in the field of Vedic Astrology - Jyotish.

Maharshi Parashara composed the "Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra" thousands of years ago in India. This most respected reference book of Vedic Astrology-Jyotish, written in Sanksrit got translated into English by Sagar and Ranjan Publications.

In the final chapter of the his "Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra" Maharshi Parashara explains, that the complete system of Jyotish was given from Lord Brahma to the great Rishi Narada. From Rishi Narada it was narated to Maharshi Parashara.
